Mental health is no joke. If you’re feeling depressed, going through depression, or know of someone who is please seek or get them help. The mind is a fragile thing and depression can turn someone from a joyous person to someone that you don’t even know. There have been times in life where we have all felt hopeless. It’s a tough battle to go through but with the help of family and friends you can make it. This song is from Tennessee artist Amarii Davu and it details his experiences with depression.

It’s hard for an artist to put their life on a record but this one sounds like it was therapeutic for Davu. With saxophone from Lee Jackson and a beautiful chorus from singer Auriel, Davu relives a depressing time of his life only to come out with hope on the other side. This will be on his upcoming Khepri project that’s being released later this year.
