First of all, Mark Morrison’s “Return Of The Mack” is a classic and if you disagree I don’t want you debating music with me. Ever. Second: if you can sample “Return Of The Mack” I’ll most likely listen just to see how you flip it. With his nostalgianticipation project out now, Pennsylvania’s Uncle TreY hits us with a track for the summer on “Mojo”.
Produced by Gold Haze, Trey documents having the “mojo” and being a ladies man. The sample plays as a sped up version behind TreY throughout as he tells us about the consequences of messing with so many women. Also you can kind of expect that based on the cover art. I don’t know the name of that effect but it’s now known as the Mr. Krabs effect to me and it’s genius.
