I’m always here for a good concept album. I think if they’re done properly then they can prosper and be great. Actually one of my favorite albums of all time is Kanye’s 808’s & Heartbreaks and that’s essentially a concept album. Funny I mention that because this concept album today comes from another Chicago MC by the name of Uspire.
Backed all by Pete Rock beats, the concept for Uspire’s album deals with life. You’ll hear a lot of misery and unpleasant things on this project because that’s just how life is sometimes. But it’s not all bad things because Uspire is here to provide the shining light and let you know that it’s all going to be ok no matter what’s happening in your life (or on the project). Features come from Chicago natives Add-2 and Sohje while mixing and mastering was handled by Albert Romero.
