Truth City, No Suh, & Wordspit The Illest Speak On Social Injustice On The JHMF Premiere Of “Everything Black”

As the cases of police brutality and killing of Black Americans keeps rising so do the amount of artists that are speaking out on them. Hip-hop is an amazing platform that can be used to channel frustration and deliver a message to an audience. Truth City does that tonight with No Suh Foster and Wordspit The Illest on “Everything Black”.

This record features upbeat production from YL On Dem 808s, something that sounds like you can riot and get wild to. The chorus features mentions of slain Black kids, such as Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin, and while you hear their names you can hear the emotion that was brought to the chorus to make it powerful. This record serves as the third single from Truth’s upcoming While You Were Sleeping album that is coming soon.
