And to add more gravitas to the duel, he consulted with the highest Italian authorities. “I spoke to the Prime Minister of Italy (Giorgia Meloni) and the Minister of Culture. They’ve agreed on an epic location.” Could it be the Coliseum? Speculation is rife.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, quickly took up the gauntlet, setting social media alight. Since then, the two tech giants showcased themselves training and throwing jibes at each other, one on X, the other on Threads and Instagram.
However, Musk recently appeared to cool things down, mentioning a possible surgery that would delay the fight. But everything sped up when Zuckerberg proposed August 26 as the fight date, with proceeds going to U.S. veterans. Musk confirmed this, signaling the onset of the most anticipated fight of the century.
