WhatsApp is constantly evolving with new features, but they won’t be available to everyone. For what?
WhatsApp and its new features: what’s new?
As most of us know, there are many updates in the works, and it seems that approval has been given for a new beta version, only for certain iOS devices.
Among the new features that could be introduced are the ability to leave a WhatsApp group without other participants knowing, the ability to choose who can see when we are online, and the issue of screenshots.
Let’s start with the new thing about online status: Don’t want to appear online for a specific person?
Soon you will be able to do it, you know?
Well yes, if for some reason you don’t want to appear connected to a particular person, you will soon be able to choose to hide your online status from that person. All you have to do is go to the last connection section and check the options that interest you.
It also seems that for some, it is already possible to leave a WhatsApp group without the other participants realizing it, because the mention “X person has left” will no longer appear, except for the group administrator.
As for blocking screenshots, it will be implemented for messages that can be viewed only once and disappear after being viewed.
In short, your privacy will be protected to the maximum.
Who will be excluded?
So there will be many new features that will appeal to many of us, as we have been talking about for months and thanks to the various updates all of this is becoming reality.
Of course, many more features will be available to you in the near future.
The only thing we want to point out is that not everyone will be able to benefit from it: those with an outdated operating system will be excluded.
In particular, the iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s will not benefit from these latest updates.
In addition, even for versions of iOS 10 and 11 it will not be possible to access it, and in fact, to do so it will be necessary to proceed with the installation of version 12 or later.
Ultimately, you can see that there are limitations to consider.
